Tsjaz in Minneapolis (consumer of popular culture) tries to be of service to others, posting with reasonable regularity, although to be honest, he'd prefer laying on the couch and sleeping to describing the excruciating minutiae of his life to you.

with batteries
Human Rasheed Wallace has a blog.
I'm reading Here Comes Everybody
by Clay Shirky about the power of the internet to organize people, and thinking about how the fundraising organization to which I'm closest is still doing things the old fashioned way.
I'm reading God Save the Fan
as well, and recommend it for fans of Klosterman and Bill Simmons.
I watched the Metallica documentary Some Kind of Monster where the band goes to therapy because they can't get along, and found it mildly interesting. Kirk Hammett is on the way to the Mike Schank end of the spectrum.
James Hetfield seems fairly normal, as is Lars, except they're both in a state of arrested development. The biggest problems I found were in Dave Mustaine, who is bitter.
I started watching True Blood on HBO, and want to watch more. I wasn't excited to watch it, but figured as a TV fan and Six Feet Under fan, that was something I ought to view. I'm enjoying it a lot.
I watched the Vikings game, but I was thinking earlier in the day about how I'm over the Vikings. Again, their plan is to win enough to pull you back in, then Childress will F it up in the playoffs. Or he'll F it up to miss the playoffs. Whichever is convenient.
