Tsjaz in Minneapolis (consumer of popular culture) tries to be of service to others, posting with reasonable regularity, although to be honest, he'd prefer laying on the couch and sleeping to describing the excruciating minutiae of his life to you.

I got my Boom! on.
We ran the new TC half marathon today. We got soaked. It started raining about 20 minutes in, then started pouring 10 minutes later. It was a really crowded race. There wasn't any point where it really opened up, although we weren't running it super fast because it was so humid at the 6:30 AM start and also not training for the marathon carried through afterward.
There are so many more long (10 mile or more) races in the Cities than 10 years ago. That's a good thing, except that the races are counterintuitively getting more expensive. You might think with more competition that the race prices would get cheaper, but apparently there's enough demand. And races are expensive to put on. The New Prague half is cheap. Today's half was about twice the price.
I don't care for the grammar of the slogan on my shirt (as shown in the title of this post). Don't put sentence-ending punctuation in the middle of a sentence. COME!! ON!
